tutorial joomla using godaddy back end part 1
this is NOT a tutorial. don’t get confused! i’m just explaining the back end database part. if you want to edit your template send a request and i’ll make a tutorial or show you. when you install joomla through godaddy, it will create a directory or folder in which ever path you chose. all your files will be stored in that directory. joomla also creates a database with multiple tables. this is also where your info gets stored like username and password etc.

Would you be able to explain how to install joomla templates through godaddy? I think im missing something. Any info is extremely helpful. Thanks.
hopeless… sorry.
sorry to reply late. it depends on what sample data you’re installing. you can install modules, plugins or extensions. you can find these options under the extension button at the very top. tip: be selective and read the comments about the modules that you download. about creating a new database, you will actually be creating new tables. if you need help creating them just contact me. however this can get very complicated, and you would have to know php very well
Hi, Do you know how where to find how to use the go daddy template builder? It is NOT user friendly. I was looking for an online tutorial that shows how to use it. Everything I’ve found so far stops at the template. Photos dont show, text does not show up as I put it in. And now it seems once I’ve started, I cannot switch back to another template.
Help, please if you can.
thank you
Angela and Jon
